Shropshire Libraries Digital Support for people 65+
Shropshire Libraries are setting up a support, as well as volunteering opportunity in our libraries. They have developed much needed digital support for people age 65+, but are still looking for volunteers and also learners. This support is a structured one to one support, where volunteer guides a learner through a set of modules available on Learn My Way, one hour per week for up to 8 to 10 sessions. They are also in a process of setting up social support groups, where people can get the peer to peer support and stay digitally active with like-minded people without stigma to gain more confidence.
